If you would like to book on to one of the weekends it is best to check availability first. You can then either send a cheque with the deposit (£60), or pay by debit or credit card over the phone. The full balance is then payable a month in advance of your weekend. Location
The Grange is just outside the pretty market town of Ellesmere, renowned for its beautiful mere (lake) and canal. A ten minute walk takes you into the town or to the mere. Further afield are the towns of Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Chester - all of which can make an interesting excursion. And of course the beautiful Welsh borderlands are very close at hand (approximately 10 miles away)
How to get to the Grange
The Grange is only 17 miles north-west of Shrewsbury. From the roundabout in the centre of Ellesmere take the A528 (signposted to Wrexham). The Grange is 500 yards on the right.
The nearest rail stations are Shrewsbury (17 miles) or, with less flexibility in train times, Gobowen (8 miles).
There are some local bus services - 0870 6082608 and taxis - 01691 622761 (Ellesmere), 01691 652000 (Gobowen) or 01743 344444 (Shrewsbury)
