We have had a small therapy centre here for a long time, with Hilary Wells being much sought after for her skills in aromatherapy, massage and reiki for over twenty years. However, the centre has been closed since March 2020 and will now remain closed.

We were deeply saddened to hear that Hilary had passed away, peacefully, at home, on 4th January 2021, after some months of illness and treatment for it.

Hilary was very highly regarded for her skills in reiki, aromatherapy and reflexology and I know from my own experience, as well as the comments made to me by others, what a great therapist she was. She will be sorely missed by her regular clients - not just for the therapies that she provided but for the care she gave to all. She was always ready to listen and to take the time to understand any concerns. When the therapy centre was started here back in the late 1980s (by Sheila), Hilary was in that first group of about four therapists. I will miss her greatly - she had become a good friend over the years.
