Location
The Grange is just outside the pretty market town of Ellesmere, renowned for its beautiful mere (lake) and canal. A five minute walk takes you into the town or to the mere. Further afield are the towns of Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Chester - all of which can make an interesting excursion. And of course the beautiful Welsh borderlands are very close at hand (approximately 10 miles away).

How to get to the Grange
The Grange is only 17 miles north-west of Shrewsbury. From the roundabout in the centre of Ellesmere take the A528 (signposted to Wrexham). The Grange is 500 yards on the right.
The nearest rail stations are Shrewsbury (17 miles - with buses to Ellesmere during weekdays) or, with less flexibility in train times, Gobowen (8 miles). If you are coming to one of our courses by train, please phone us in advance to discuss your travel arrangements - some routes are better than others and we can advise.
